Quilt for Palestine Raffle Kickoff Nov 10 – Entries open until Dec 15 6PST/9EST

QUILT RAFFLE KICKOFF

The 2023 Community Quilt: Let’s Play has been hanging above the couch at Fuller’s Speed Shop since June of this year. The clocks have been set back and the leaves have dropped along with (occasionally) the temperature, signaling it’s time to take the quilt back West.

This Sunday, November 10 10am – 2pm we’re having a farewell celebration. Ian Cozzens and I will be hosting a sewing circle / sewing hangout / “bring your projects & work on them in company” type session. We’ll have some basic supplies but participants are encouraged to bring materials to use and share. Some basic snacks will be provided. Avalanche Books will also be open that day.

This event will also act as kickoff for our Quilt for Palestine raffle. For the 2024 Quilting Bee instead of creating one giant quilt, we made two 36”x36” quilts. The raffle winner will be chosen on December 15 at 10pm EST (7pm PST). All funds collected will be used to by E-Sims for Palestinians via Connecting Humanity. All receipts will be posted.
