Virginia Lopez-Anido
My name is Virginia Lopez-Anido is a multi-disciplinary visual artist. I work primarily with textiles, collage, and ceramics. My practice is informed by experimental and traditional approaches to handicrafts and making through a process of collecting, reclaiming, and retracing materials. I have been learning about and making quilts since 2020 and this is my first participation in a community bee. I live and work out of my studio in central Maine.
Quilt for Palestine (2024) #2
My contribution to this quilt comes together with pieces of fabric that I cherish and that have been given to me over the past few years. Free Palestine.
